NOTHING LESS THAN A WIN

MALAYSIA IS FEELING THE HEAT
The Malaysia's side is indeed in a precarious situation after a dismal performance against neighbour Singapore in their opening match which saw them succumbed to a 0-3 defeat to the Raddy Abramovic side tamely at Bukit Jalil National Stadium last Sunday.

Starting tonight, against the upcoming Laos whom nearly cause a major upset against last year's runners up Indonesia.National coach K. Rajagobal must be in his utmost best to prepared a strategy to see his side winning again. Only a win for the Malaysians side would stand a chance to book a semi-final berth. But do not forget Laos also stand a chance if they beat Malaysia so it will be definitely an open game.

Malaysia 0 Singapore 3

This year could history repeated itself? We will never know cause football is unpredictable. It had happened before in the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 when the Malaysian side suffered a 5-1  defeat in their opening match against Indonesia. And can you believed it we stormed back and went on to lift the cup.

Attack..Attack..Attack that is the war cry should be on the shoulder on each of the Malaysian players tonight. There is no other way round. Malaysia must win and grab whatever chances that came by and showed no mercy. Nonetheless there is no such thing as tactical, no more defending and they must take full advantage of playing in front of thousands of our home fans.

If not then Malaysia might just say `adios' to the AFF Suzuki Cup 2012 campaign for good. At this stage focus will be on Safie Salie  and company as they must deliver at all cost. No more excuses as they must proved their worth to stay in the cup.

But playing in front of our home fans we could have the advantage. Its just simple - get an early goal to lift off the pressure made no mistakes and everything will be surely go our way. All will be forgotten and focus will be on our final game - Indonesia and the fans will be back behind the team.

Sometimes is good to lose early so we can rectify our mistake and get our act back together rather than losing in semi-final or in the final. The team will learn the agony of pain when losing and it will spurred and pushed them up to the limit. The last two days must be taxing for coach Rajagopal and he must have a sleepless night thinking off strategy and putting the right players to start tonight.

As we usually heard this sport phrases before - defending is harder than winning the cup. So that's its. We hope for the very best tonight. Go Harimau Malaya Go.
