MALAYSIA MUST LEARNED

MALAYSIA MUST LEARN FROM THEIR EARLIER 5-1 BASHING BY THE INDONS
The Malaysian need to be reminded of the huge defeat suffered in their group campaign against Indonesia when both team clash again in a two-legged final of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 with the first leg will be played at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil this weekend.

On Sunday with home ground advantage, K. Rajagopal's side stand a great chance to redeem themselves after being humiliated 5-1 at Gelora Bung Karno Senayan Stadium to settle the score.

But it is easier said than done for the Austrian coach, Alfred Reidl (pix left) definitely has something up in his sleeves with tactical plans to counter back at whatever Rajagopal had in mind into the first leg.

For me, the Malaysian sides had learned their lesson well and had a really good taste of defeat in their earlier encounter. For sure our defence line of Ahamad Muslim, Asaruddin Putra, Fadhli Shas, Mahali Jasli and Sabree Mat Abu realised and badly want to prove that they are much more equip this time and  ready to face El-Loco nickname  for Cristian Gonzales and company.

After the 5-1 mauling, the Malaysian stormed back and in their next four matches they remain unbeaten, winning twos, scoring seven and two draws with Khairul Fahmi letting in just one. The statistics shown a vast improvement being made by our back line and it is good sign for the team.

With Khairul Fahmi Che Mat (pix right) in goal currently on top of his game. Things are shaping up well for the Kelantan's keeper  and has being regards one of reason behind Malaysia good showing into the final.

With a solid defence, the front line led by Norshahrul and Safee Salie would give them that extra edge to attack and keep the pressure on the opponent. With captain's Safiq Rahim back in form and enough support provided by S. Kunanlan, Amar Rohidan, Amirulhadi, Amry Yahyah and Zulkifli Shaari in the midfield engine room the Malaysian side could prevails.
