INDONESIA JUST LUCKY NOT TO FACE OUR BEST SIDE

INDONESIA coach Alfred Reidl is not a true gentlemen. In his statement `the best team did not win the cup' referring to his team that should have won the trophy.

Well the truth is Reidl is just an arrogant man and confused to accept his team failure to win the cup after his side impressive showing in the Group match when they thrashed the Malaysian 5-1.

Despite winning 2-1 in the second-leg final, his side fails to win the cup when they lose 2-4 on aggregate. The Austrian must be grateful for his team Indonesia did not face our strongest side in the tournament.

Reidl must realised this is a very naive young Malaysian sides fielded in the tournament. Ten of them are missing due to injury Farizal Marlias, Nasriq Baharom, Aidil Zafuan Radzak, Norhafiz Zamani Misbah, Azmi Muslim, S. Chanthuru, Bunyamin Umar, Baddrol Bakhtiar, Ahmad Fakri Saarani and Zaquan Adha Radzak.

That is the biggest headache to what the national coach K.Rajagopal and team manager Datuk Subahan Kamal are dealing with it earlier. Huge burden on them upon preparing the team for the Asian Games and with the AFF Suzuki Cup just concluded recently. But the good things is those young players Republic Czech bound trainee being introduce into the side perform beyond expectations.

The good sign is currently we have more group of young players to select for the national team and that is good for Malaysian football. What would the result be if this such players are available especially in the AFF Suzuki Cup final. Guess what! How about Reidl men facing this Malaysian side?
