FAM - DON'T BE ARROGANT

FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION OF MALAYSIA (FAM) must start redo their thinking about those Malaysian origin players playing abroard. Why must be this sort of negative attitude towards them. Don't be arrogant.

Just because of this selfish statement by the Youth and Sports Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Chik stating that the goverment will not hiring foreigners to represent the country in sports such as football.

But this is Malaysian origin and born we are talking about  and they creating  headlines  in the Australian League, J-League and English Championship League. Players like  Brendan Gan, Takashi Takeda, Nicholas Chan, Tham Sheang Sung dan Ash Hameed.
Brendan born on the 3rd June 1986 in Suther- land Shire, Sydney, Australia his father hails from Seremban is reported as one of the upcoming young midfielder currently playing for Sydney FC United.
Takashi Takeda born on the 27th July, 1986 in Penang and currently playing division two J-League outfit Fagiano Ogayama FC in central defence and Tham Sheang Sung with Yokohama FC.
Nicholas Chan, 19, son of English Championship side Cardiff City owner Datuk Chan Tian Ghee also playing in midfield.
Meanwhile Ash Hameed, 13, from Selangor reported have signed a two-years contract with current English Championship leader Queens Park Rangers (QPR).
There is nothing to lose at least FAM can take a look on them first and gave them a try before making any decision. Who knows with this kind players it could benefit the national sides.
