Mat Zan - Pos Malaysia new coach

There is still life after all for the former KL Plus coach nickname `The Iron Man' Mat Zan Mat Aris during his playing days. The 55-year-old former KL and Terengganu coach previously tender his resignation after three season with the club.
This time he was hired by Pos Malaysia to boost their target to be among the top four teams in Premier Division and qualify for the Malaysia Cup in the new season.

Team manager Shaari Shazali said their target was to be among the top four teams in the Premier division and qualify for the Malaysia Cup.
They have recruited 10 players, including from Malacca, KL Plus and Universiti Sains Malaysia. This year, in their debut season, they finished eighth among 12 teams.
To ensure they put up a better performance, the coach and 10 players from this season were not retained. Shaari said they decided to engaged Mat Zan because they need an experience coach to guide the team.
"We are dead serious in the M-League and Pos Malaysia willing to go far. So we decided to look for an experience local coach with great working attitude. And Mat Zan Mat Aris certainly fits the bill.
“We had a bitter experience in our debut season scoring 42 goals and conceding 41. We registered 10 new players and are looking for more, especially defenders," said Shaari.
"Of the 24 players we now have, 13 are Pos Malaysia employees."
The team are training at the Pos Malaysia training centre in Bangi.
