WE DO NOT FEAR NEGRI

KELANTAN coach B.Sathinathan sounded a warning to the defending champions Negri Sembilan they do not fear facing them as he prepared his side for the ultimate clash in the 63rd Malaysia Cup Finals on Saturday thus creating history winning the prestigous trophy for the very first time.

Sathinathan in his second year coaching the The Road Warriors has turn the East Coast into a new force to reckon with. They nearly went close doing a double last year reaching the FA Cup and the Malaysia Cup finals but on both occassion they went back home empty handed. So this will be his third appearance guiding Kelantan in the cup finals so he hope to be third time lucky.

This year in the Super League the Red Warriors are in the runnersup spot behind champions Selangor and on Saturday they on the verge of capturing the Malaysia Cup trophy in their fourth attempt since 1955, 1970 and 2009.

The former national coach ever since their loss to Negri in the last year cup final. He has strenghtened his side by recruiting national U-23 striker Norshahrul Idlan Talha and in the likes, of experience players Hairuddin Omar, Akmal Rizal and S. Chantaru to beef up the frontline.

At the back he has sign defender Azizi Matt Rose from Perlis and S.Subramaniam from Perak.

With Selangor and Kedah their latest victim they looks this time around they are much better equip and ready for the mother of all their matches, the Malaysia Cup Finals. But their opponent Negri Sembilan under the guidance of coach Wan Jamak Wan Hassan since taking over in 2009, twice they reach cup final including the Malaysia Cup last year and 2010 FA Cup final and Negri turn out as winners on both occassion.

So come this Saturday will be Wan Jamak third cup finals his second  straight  year running to be in the Malaysia Cup finals. Surely for the Johore born and former national coach will fight  tooth and nails preparing his side to defend the cup thus doing a double for Negri Sembilan which they had never done before.

Season Negri players Rezal, Shukur, Ching and Idris
Despite losing striker Zaquan Abd Razak before the Malaysia Cup campaign the Negri side seems able to live without the striker and their results looks very promising. Season players such as Shukur Adan, Idris Karim, Ching Hong Aik dan Rezal Zambry Yahya all are still showing their hunger to add more trophies to their collection.

With stories of Kelantan coach B. Sathianathan being handed a six month ban by FAM effecting during the second-leg semi-final and later tooks a twist when the main body decided to delay his ban. Then followed by  the increased of the ticket price, with all 30,000 tickets provided for both teams all were sold out like hot cakes and tight securities measure has been taken. All of this will add more spice to the one of the oldest tournament in Asia. See you in Bukit Jalil. Bye-bye for now.
