NEGRI SEMBILAN U-18 MADE A BRIGHT START IN THE 100PLUS FAM/MSSM 2010 Super Cup

A total of 16 football teams -- including last year's champions SMK Putera from Kelantan -- battle out for the 100PLUS Super Cup in an Under-18 Champions' School competition at Universiti Kebangasaan Malaysia (UKM) in Bangi on Oct 11-14.


The tournament, in its third edition, was first held at the Victoria Institution in 2008 and the following year at the Cochrane Sports Excellence Centre. UKM will play hosts for the first time.

Negri Sembilan represented by Sekolah Menengah Dato' Abdullah Astana Raja, Rembau who emerged champions after they defeated Sekolah Menengah Dato' Mansor Bahau 5-4 on penalty kicks in the final at King George V Padang last Friday made a bright start with two wins after two matches played today.


Earlier, Negri Sembilan notch their first win when they defeated Kuala Lumpur 3-1. In their second match played at 3.30pm Negri Sembilan thrashed Putra Jaya 9-0 for their second win. Negri Sembilan will meet Selangor on Tuesday at 8.00 am tomorrow.
