MALAYSIA CUP 2010 MATCHDAY 5 - PREVIEW

MATCH DAY 5 - 6th October 2010
WITH two matches left to be played starting tonight all the fifteen teams except Selangor are going all out hunting for a place in the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals.

In Group A, defending champions Negri Sembilan needed a win against KL Plus to confirm their place in the quarterfinal. While the match in Kota Bharu between Kelantan and Selangor PKNS will be an explosive one with both teams are looking for win to stay in the hunt.

Selangor book their place in quarter-final
In group B, early favourite Terengganu are back in contention after their 2-0 win against Pahang. They face group leader Sabah in Kuala Terengganu. With home ground advantage the Turtles could brightened up their quarterfinal hopes. In another match, Pahang will face Kuala Lumpur with both teams needed a win to boost their chances to qualify.

In Group C it would be a close encounter. Group leader Johor FC with home ground advantage stand a good chance against the Armed Forces to stay on course. While Kedah face a huge task in an away match against the upcoming Perak. Any upset will saw the group turn into a haywire.

While in Group D the match between Perlis and T-Team would be quite interesting with both teams are level on 6 points. Perlis certainly need all the support they can get at home to collect all the three points. With Selangor already home and dry their next two matches is just a formality. Tonight against Felda United, Selangor can afford to rest their regulars and try out some new faces.
